Nowadays, I eat cereals that I never would have dreamed of before. Hot rice cereal, hot quinoa cereal, and hot mixed cereal. These are my day to day options now, and I really really like them. I like them best with a bit of brown sugar and some milk poured on top. Sometimes I'll add in peanut butter or slivered almonds. That is how I've been mixing it up these days. Not so much by changing which one I eat, but changing how I eat it. I think that that is the best way for me to change without sourcing out a more expensive and confusing alternative. Gluten free tends to mean that expensive is bound to happen, it's just how much you're willing to pay, and if the higher price comes with a higher quality, better tasting product. If it doesn't then don't bother, but if it tastes worlds better, then it's always good to consider for a treat or something different.
How do you do breakfast? Are you all about the eggs or in need of pancakes? I'd love to know =D.

I like that hot rice cereal for breakfast. My breakfast is normally pretty simple. Yogurt and any kind of cereal. Maybe with some berries or seasonal fruit.
I'm usually in a big rush in the mornings. I take a loong time to get ready, but I like to sleep in as late as I can. I usually eat cereal as quickly as possible between showering and drying my hair.
On the weekends though, when I'm not in a hurry, I like to make pancakes or scones. If my parents are cooking, they make the whole deal: eggs, hashbrowns, bacon, and fresh fruit.
I often eat an egg for breakfast even during the week because I find I do much better as far as energy if I have protein for breakfast. I put a little olive oil in the frying pan, turn it to high, crack the egg and break the yolk, put a lid on the pan, and turn off the burner. Then I hop in the shower. As I'm heading out the door for work, I throw the egg in a container and then I eat it at my desk. It's still warm and tastes great. Sometimes I eat an apple and nuts. Rarely do I eat pancakes, etc. I enjoy them, but feel better with my other breakfasts.

I pretty much always eat fruit for breakfast... sometimes yogurt. If I have the time and inclination, I'll make myself a big stack of pancakes or French toast, but those mornings are few and far between.
