My List

by Lauren | Celiac Teen on July 20, 2008

Today I decided to make a list.  A nice big list of food I would like to make.  Gluten free.  Some will be challenges.  Others will be exciting.  Some will be worth it.  Some may take a few tries.  Any way, I have a list.  Or at least I’ve started one.  And if you have any amazing recipes for these just leave a comment below.  Also leave a comment if you have any suggestions for other things I may want to try.

So here, in no particular order is my list (but I will number it just to make it easier):

1. Baguettes
Zucchini Bread
3. Gingerbread
4. Blondies
5. Snickerdoodles
6. Chocolate Mousse
7. Souffle
8. Creme Brulee
9. Pineapple Upside Down Cake
10. Angel Food Cake
Flourless Chocolate Cake
 – Complete
13. Apple Pie
14. A (I haven’t decided what type yet) Cream Pie
16. Crepes
17. Quiche
18. Truffles
19. Nanaimo Bars
20. Oatmeal Cookies (or a similar thing…)
21. Ice Cream Bars
22. Lemon Meringue Pie
23. Bagels
Oh, and all these things will be from scratch.  Yes.  Thats what makes it challenging, at least for some parts.
So, leave a comment, and tell me what you think.  Or anything I should know.
PS – My list was inspired by this list!

I just stumbled across your blog and I love your list! Creme Brulee is my all time favorite, and I’ve finally mastered it – if you want to take a look, check out my post:

I also LOVE truffles! I’ve made them once, but only by accident when I had some left over ganache. They didn’t last too long in the house. lol!

I posted Nanaimos a week or two ago…all you really have to do is change the base, it’s easier than you think and totally yummy. It was one of the first that I converted…
I LOVE them!

Gluten Free Goddess of Karina’s Kitchen makes a crustless quiche that is very similar to the one I make. Mine is really yummy, but I bet hers will be equally so. You can find it at
Many Blessings,
